NEW SCHOOL YEAR
Dear Parents,
I am looking forward to a great start to a new school year. I cannot wait to meet all my students. This year I will teach math to all the students in third grade no matter what homeroom they are assigned.
The transition from second grade to third grade is a big step toward independence. There will be a parent orientation meeting within the first few days of school to address expectations, schedule, discipline system, and questions. I am looking forward to meeting the parents at that meeting.
The third grade teachers have posted a supply list on the school website. There should also be a copy at Walmart and Office Max. I promise that we use everything on the list during third grade. I believe students work smarter when they are organized, so our supply list includes all they need in order to be organized and color coded.
Happy Summer!
